To keep infection away, you’ll be provided with antibiotics and you should complete the whole course even if you feel as though you don’t need them all. If you stop half-way through your recovery after balloon sinuplasty, you could suffer the consequences in the long-term so follow all instructions from the doctor.

Typically, other means of treatment are attempted first, such as the prescription of antibiotics along with topical steroids. These antibiotics will also reduce the likelihood of developing a sinus infection. Many patients claim that they feel no pain after the procedure, but they may feel fatigue.
